Military Fitness for Duty Evaluations
Professional. Independent. Evidence-Based.
When questions arise about a Service Member’s psychological readiness to perform military
duties, a comprehensive Fitness-for-Duty Evaluation can provide valuable clinical insight.
At Quantum Mental Health Wellness Center, we provide independent Military
Fitness-for-Duty Evaluations for Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve, and Veteran
populations. Our evaluations are conducted using established clinical methods, evidence-based
assessment practices, and professional standards to assess an individual’s current
psychological functioning in relation to the demands of military service.
Each evaluation provides clear, clinically supported findings to assist Service Members, military
leadership, legal representatives, and other authorized referral sources in making informed decisions
What Is a Military Fitness-for-Duty Evaluation?
A Military Fitness-for-Duty Evaluation is a comprehensive behavioral health assessment that examines whether an individual’s current mental and emotional functioning supports their ability to safely and effectively perform the essential responsibilities of military service.
The purpose of the evaluation is to assess current psychological functioning not to determine military career outcomes. Final decisions regarding duty status, retention, or administrative actions remain the responsibility of the appropriate military authority.
